Mwanamke Anaweza Community Initiative (MACI) is an NGO registered under the company act.
It was founded on 13 June 2018 and registered in July, 2024 .
MACI aims to support girl children in different parts of Uganda overcome challenges relating to menstrual hygiene, health, domestic violence, discrimination and low financial status.

Increase girls presence, confidence and concentration in school and school activities
Providing health education to girls on aspects of teenage pregnancy
Undertaking school and community outreach projects to promote menstrual hygiene and health education
Menstrual Hygiene is a big challenge to many girls attending school in Uganda.
Girls need money along their studies aside the school fees that their parents and caretakers pay.
Many girls lack adequate health care knowledge.
Some girls are unfortunate to be orphans. This could have resulted from death of one or both parents.
The organization accommodates partnerships from relevant stakeholders and renowned corporate bodies, hence our yearly proposal sets to seek out sponsorship that will help in the continuity of the project.
